Joy… Unearthly joy.
As I appeared around the room, it was as if time stood still, and my ears had gone deaf. As I watched the excitement as they jumped for joy, praising the Lord for only what He had done. Everyone dancing their own dance as if no one were watching.
“God has done it once again,” I thought to myself.
This Sunday began just like all the rest. A beautiful morning, heartfelt worship, and a joy for the Lord as any other day.
We continued the service as usual, not knowing what was about to happen.
After a sweet time of praise and worship, about to welcome the Word of God, we began welcoming visitors.
Our pastor’s wife handed the microphone to the first. In her local language, she introduced herself. She then spoke of fellowshipping in the Catholic Church but how she had come to give her life to Christ.
The entire room erupted with celebration.
As the room quieted down, the mic was handed to another.
“I was fellowshipping in the Catholic Church but I’ve come to become Born Again.”
The room, once again, broke out into complete praise!
One after another, the same story was shared. By time the third person stood up to share the room couldn’t contain their excitement. Everyone was up, dancing, praising God for what He had done, welcoming them into the family of God.
Complete Joy.
Ten people walked through the doors of Grace Mission Church- Pabbo that morning as Catholics and walked out as New Creations in Christ!
We praise God for what He had done and continues to do each day.
Thank you for praying and walking with us through this journey God has placed us on.
Please pray for these new believers in Christ. Pray for their growth and understanding of the Word of God. That they would have the desire and endurance to continue walking the path of Righteousness and that they would not turn back. Thank you.
“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”
